Arrowhead Elementary Celebrates Record Breaking Arrowthon with Principal Bedazzling Assembly

On Friday, May 8th, the Arrowhead community gathered for a highly anticipated assembly to celebrate a record-breaking achievement: bedazzling Arrowhead's principal, Dr. Roberts! This event served as the grand finale to the annual Arrowthon fundraising campaign held this past fall. As the school's premier fundraiser, Arrowthon is the backbone of our community activities, providing the Home and School Association’s entire operating budget for the year.

While the fundraising goal was set at an ambitious $50,000, the school community didn't just meet that target—they shattered it, raising a remarkable total of $66,140!  As a reward for this incredible effort, students and staff took turns coming on stage to place gems on Dr. Roberts’ head. Dr. Roberts was a fantastic sport throughout the entire event, graciously participating in the fun to celebrate the students' hard work.

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Arrowthon committee—Theresa Manzi, Mary Beth Verano, Ian Hoffman, and Erin Cardwell—for their leadership and dedication. We also thank Dr. Roberts for his participation and the entire staff and student body for making this such a successful and memorable year for Arrowhead.
