After careful consideration, Methacton School District will be transitioning from a 1:1 model to a shared devices model in Kindergarten and Grade 1. The transition to the shared devices model will begin the week of April 13, 2026. Both grade levels will have a shared cart of Chromebook devices per building. The shared cart allows each classroom to use devices for center-based activities and for whole class activities when needed. The shared devices will remain in the school building and will not be sent home with students. Addtional instructions for Flexible Instructional Days will be forthcoming.
